Technical Tool Overview: Sweat Absorption Estimator

This estimator focuses on Hygroscopic Potential. While we often want clothes that stay dry, the goal of the first layer (base layer) is actually to pull sweat away from the body so it can be managed.

Functional Logic & Architecture

  • The Absorption Coefficient: * Bamboo/Rayon (0.35): These fibers have a micro-porous structure that allows them to hold significantly more water than cotton without feeling "dripping wet."
    • Cotton (0.25): The industry standard for "Good" absorption.
    • Polyester (0.02): Almost zero internal absorption. It relies entirely on the spaces between threads (wicking) rather than the fiber itself.
  • GSM/Volume Relationship: Heavier fabrics have more "Internal Volume" to store liquid. A 200 GSM cotton towel will absorb twice as much as a 100 GSM cotton shirt of the same size.
  • Saturation Point: The tool calculates the "Break Point"β€”the moment where the fabric can no longer hold liquid and begins to feel heavy and clingy to the skin.

Features & Capabilities

  • Sleek 4px UI: Condensed fields for technical designers at DIHOD Software House.
  • Liquid-Volume Output: Provides the result in Milliliters (ml), making it easy to compare with average human sweat rates (which can be 500ml to 1000ml per hour during activity).
  • Fabric Comparison: Allows users to see why switching from a 100 GSM shirt to a 150 GSM version might help manage sweat better in high-humidity zones.
