What is Blood Glucose?

Blood sugar, or glucose, is the main sugar found in your blood. It comes from the food you eat and is your body’s primary source of energy. At DIHOD Software House, we’ve built this tracker to help Creshy Tools users monitor their levels accurately and avoid the long-term complications of high sugar.

Normal Sugar Ranges

The target ranges can vary, but generally, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) suggests:

Fasting (8-12 hours no food)

  • Normal: 70–99 mg/dL
  • Pre-diabetic: 100–125 mg/dL
  • Diabetic: 126 mg/dL or higher

After Meal (2 hours post-eating)

  • Normal: Less than 140 mg/dL
  • Pre-diabetic: 140–199 mg/dL
  • Diabetic: 200 mg/dL or higher

Why Monitoring Matters in Karachi

With a lifestyle that often includes high-carb diets (like Naan, Paratha, and sweets), residents of Karachi are at a higher risk. Whether you’re working late at Creshy Group or active at Creshy Studio, keeping your glucose stable ensures consistent energy levels and brain function.

  1. Prevent Complications: Protect your kidneys, eyes, and heart.
  2. Track Progress: See how diet and exercise affect your numbers.
  3. Informed Decisions: Know when to consult a specialist.
Sufyan’s Pro Tip: If you get a high reading once, don’t panic. Stress, illness, or a particularly heavy meal can cause temporary spikes. However, if your Fasting sugar is consistently above 100, it’s time to talk to a doctor about a lifestyle audit!
