Sleep Cycle Calculator
Optimize your sleep by waking up at the end of a 90-minute sleep cycle.
Calculations include 15 minutes to fall asleep.
The Science of Sleep Cycles
A good night’s sleep isn’t just about length; it’s about cycles. One sleep cycle lasts about 90 minutes. During this time, your brain moves from light sleep to deep sleep and finally to REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep. At DIHOD Software House, we’ve programmed this tracker for Creshy Tools to help you time your alarm perfectly with these biological rhythms.
Why 90 Minutes?
If you wake up in the middle of a cycle (especially deep sleep), you feel “sleep drunk” or groggy. Waking up at the end of a cycle makes you feel alert and energized.
The 15-Minute Rule
The average human takes about 14-15 minutes to actually fall asleep. Our calculator automatically adds this “sleep latency” to your results for better accuracy.
Better Sleep in Karachi’s Busy Life
Whether you are handling deployments at Creshy Group or editing at Creshy Studio, sleep is your fuel. Here is how to improve it:
- Consistency: Try to wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends in Clifton or DHA.
- Blue Light: Stop using your phone or laptop 30 minutes before your calculated bedtime to let Melatonin (sleep hormone) build up.
- Environment: Keep your room cool and dark. Use earplugs if the Saddar traffic is too loud!
