Introduction
Blood pressure is the force of your blood pushing against the walls of your arteries. Each time your heart beats, it pumps blood into the arteries. At DIHOD Software House, we’ve designed this analyzer based on the latest American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines to help Creshy Tools users stay informed about their cardiovascular health.
Understanding the Numbers
Your blood pressure reading has two numbers:
[Image of blood pressure chart showing systolic and diastolic categories]Systolic (Top Number)
- Measures the pressure in your arteries when your heart beats.
- For most adults, a healthy systolic number is less than 120.
Diastolic (Bottom Number)
- Measures the pressure in your arteries when your heart rests between beats.
- A healthy diastolic number is usually less than 80.
Blood Pressure Categories
- Normal: Less than 120/80 mmHg.
- Elevated: Systolic between 120β129 AND diastolic less than 80.
- Hypertension Stage 1: Systolic 130β139 OR diastolic 80β89.
- Hypertension Stage 2: Systolic 140+ OR diastolic 90+.
- Hypertensive Crisis: Higher than 180/120. Seek medical help immediately!
Health Tips for Karachi Residents
- Reduce Salt: Limit high-sodium foods like processed snacks and fast food.
- Stay Active: Regular walking can significantly lower blood pressure over time.
- Manage Stress: Long hours at Creshy Group or Creshy Studio require regular breaks and hydration.
Sufyan’s Pro Tip: One high reading doesn’t always mean you have high blood pressure. Stress, caffeine, and even a “White Coat” effect (anxiety at the doctor’s office) can spike numbers. Always take 2-3 readings at different times of the day for a more accurate average!
